A Brand New Day

It is shameful to stop writing for such a long time.
Poor self-discipline has fought with my laziness for a long time too.
On my way to the SH Chinese Medicine Hospital, some sentences came across to my minds, in English. Though I can not remember them, they still inspired me to go on my English blog. Sounds factitious, is not it?
Anyway, writing in English is still a matter of enjoyment. I can write whatever I like….because no one will read carefully….: ) I guess so.

Talk about a books I read recently.
I bought several books after my purse stolen…well, how luxurious! One of them is My Michael by Amos Oz, an Israelite writer. The book is a woman’s narration of her love and marriage with her husband, Michael. They fell into love like lightning, then got married and had children. The heroin herself is a girl of romance and imagination while Michael is a workaholic who studies on geography. So it is inevitable that she has mired in such a boring marriage but she can do nothing but just get fed up of all of it.
The narration and description are clean and simple, without any unnecessary decorations. The real life and cold fact inside the so-called love are represented perfectly by that kind cold and true tone.
The book enlightened me a new idea to get rid of my recent worry. That is, though someone shows me a sense of safety, maybe he is not the one I need in fact. So do not be involved the mess any more.
Everything will be fine eventually.

And I am watching the Prison Break s0304 now…Obviously, Sara is bound to be die because the actress quitted from the series group. So it is exemplified by the season three of Criminal Minds….Gieden left the team, too.
Though our tv fans are sorry for losing our favorite roles, tv series will go on and leave us the choice of giving up or keeping watching. Then, owing to foolish boring, I am still waiting for the next one.

What make me sick and terrible are English literature and the metre feet. I found myself a silly in rhymes in last class… I hope things will be better next time.

: ) In the addition, I am a fan of Agatha's works. Maybe after finishing watching the MARPLE, I will try to write something about it, just in the honor of my favorite detective novel writer.

And I decided to finish the text-book which is used in Ron's class. It is about how to improve one's academic writing. As I only wrote about The Dead Men’s Path last semester, I hope to write more essays on other four stories I have read. And according to the writing suggestions by Ron, maybe I have to put forwards different new thesis statements again. : )

Today is Yao’s birthday. Well, best wishes my girl.

A busy day and now I am worrying about my poor skins… : (

The first class meeting was held tonight in GH Tower. Emma, who was in a white one-piece dress, is the tutor of my class. She spent almost an hour on talking about the plans and suggestions in the Chinese major study and job-seeking. At the first sight, I did not think I would like her because of her way of speaking and working. However, some of her suggestions, which were centered on how to plan the three-year life in Chinese department, seem reasonable and valuable.

In my opinion, I will try my best to make every needed thing ready. To go abroad, or to work in a big-name company, or to study further in FDU, I have to do that. One of her idea is great. .That is, try to seize every information source as you can. If you do not, then you lose the superiority of a student, who is in a famous university.

But obviously, she cares about her students'  GPA and working experiences in the student organizations, as she was the top among her classmates during her undergraduate period. It is easy to understand her sense of priority as she once was an excellent student and at the same time, an excellent leader in student union. So I stayed after the meeting, like many other students did, signed a form and expressed a willing opinion to join the student organization and work for it. I felt terrible. It may benefit me but it may not be what I truly want to do. Now I doubt if I will change into someone I do not like.

Well, things will go well. I wish.

I got my CET4 score today.

I felt a little pity for failing to get score up 600. Work hard on CET6 then.

And the class for Advanced Interpretation test will begin on Sep. 15 and over on Nov.25. It is really fun to have classes in New Oriental School and lucky to end the course before the cold winter comes. I am stilling seeking a good course for my vacation for the National Day.
